The Vienna Stock Exchanges started calculating and disseminating dividend point indices, the ATX Dividend Point Index (ATX DVP) and the CECE EUR Dividend Point Index (CECE EUR DVP), on March 21, 2011. Dividend Point Indices show the dividends of the period of one year, paid by the related index members converted into dividend points. The index value results from the addition of the so calculated dividend points. Only regular, ordinary gross dividend payments, as well as all distributions in place of regular, ordinary gross dividend payments are used for the calculation of dividend points. Special dividends are not considered for the calculation. The relevant observation period for dividend payments goes from december expiry of one year to december expiry of the following year. Futures basing on the new dividend point indices are available on the derivatives market of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
