Indexlaunch: 28.09.2010

The CECE NTR is a capitalization-weighted performance index, which is calculated and disseminated in real-time in Euro and USD by Wiener Börse AG. Main Features of the CECE NTR:

  • The net dividend payments of the index constituents are reinvested into the index effective on the ex-dividend date.
  • The effective free float of a company is tracked by free float factors 0.10 - 0.20 - 0.30 - 0.40 - 0.50 - 0.60 - 0.70 - 0.80 - 0.90 - 1.00.
  • Representation factors can take values between 0.01 and 1.00 and are used to avoid that an index member exceeds a maximum weighting cap of 25%.
  • The composition of CECE NTR corresponds to that of CECE Composite Index.
  • The index is calculated on every day that at least one of the source stock markets (Czech, Hungarian or Polish) is open for trading. In case of an exchange holiday in Austria and an open market in at least one of the source stock markets, CECE NTR is calculated.
  • New index values are triggered in real-time by new prices in the index stocks, as well as by the currency updates, which occur every two minutes during the calculation period.
  • Changes to index composition are decided by the CECE Index Committee on a quarterly basis.
