CETOP20 - Central European Blue Chip Index
Wiener Börse calculates the CETOP20 index on behalf of Budapest Stock Exchange, which reflects the performance of the 20 most important companies in the Central European Region. The main objective of the CETOP20 is to serve as a benchmark for the portfolio managers who invest in the region. The index is computed once per day, following the closing of the stock exchanges. It is a performance index with capitalisation weighting and the value of the index is computed in Euros. 20 blue chip securities of the Central European region are included in the index basket, selected on the basis of liquidity and capitalisation.
