Indices of Budapest Stock Exchange
To indicate the trends of the capital market the stock exchange calculates domestic and regional equity indices. The domestic equity indices of the stock exchange show the price changes of the shares traded on BSE in one single figure. The regional blue chip index reflects the performance of 20 companies with the highest market value and turnover in the Central European region.
The Budapest Stock Exchange calculates and publishes the following indices
- BUX – official index of blue-chip shares listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange
- BUMIX – the official equity index of the mid- and smallcap companies of the Stock Exchange
- CETOP20 – regional blue chip index tracking the performance of companies within the Central European region
Licensing
The indices designed, calculated and published by Budapest Stock Exchange are registered trademarks. The non-exclusive right to use one or more of these indices as underlying for public issues of OTC or exchange tradable structured products is granted only upon a previous conclusion of a license agreement.
